The At The Drive in Classroom Videos

We will start our first post with a total classic.
Photobucket

At the Drive in was band that formed in El Paso, TX sometime in the year 1993. At that point in my life I was 6 years old but from what I hear, it was a pretty good year for a lot of people.  They released several Albums (listed below) and toured constantly for several before disbanding in 2001 after the release of their most critically acclaimed album Relationship of Command. The members have gone on to reach great financial success in other projects of which I am sure you are more familiar with although I dont really find the need to name them here.

Since 2009 several members of the band have been making slight hints towards a possible reunion in the future.

 AT THE DRIVE IN DISCOGRAPHY:

         EP's:

                                   Hell Paso  (Western Breed 1994)
Alfaro Vive, Carajo! (Western Breed 1995)
                                   El Gran Orgo (Offtime 1997)
                                   Vaya (Fearless, 1999)
Sunshine/ATDI split (Big Wheel Recreation 2000)

         LP's:

                                  Acrobatic Tenement  (Flipside 1996)
                                  In Casino Out (Fearless 1998)
Relationship of Command (Grand Royal 2000)

So, here they are...I really wish I knew more about the actual date these videos were recorded but guessing by the line-up I would have to say this was sometime mid 1998. What I do know about these videos is that they show a band with so much raw energy and a pure and genuine drive to take the world by storm. To further this point I have also included a live video from Big Day out Festival in 2001, right before they broke up.

  2. At The Drive In has always been amazing and a staple in the early Post-Hardcore scene. Good post man.
